Our rabbi speaks

rebe molitva    Boris Grisenko has been the Senior Rabbi (pastor) of KJMC from the very beginning.

Rabbi Boris is also the Vice Chairman of the Ukrainian Interchurch Council and holds an Honorary Doctorate in Theology from CLST (Christian Life School of Theology).

Within the Сongregation, he initiated forms of ministry that were somewhat unusual for religious communities at the time, such as clubs, coffee rooms, outdoor Shabbats (Saturday services) and concerts devoted to biblical holidays. For the first time ever, KJMC began to regularly use original Jewish music that had been developed in the territory of Ukraine in the 18th and 19th centuries during their Shabbat services to praise God. Thousands of people have repented over the years that the Сongregation has been at work thanks to these services.

How can I forgive my enemies?

We face various challenges in our lives. Sometimes we may even find ourselves in circumstances so confusing that we’re questioning ourselves: “how can God possibly give me a way out of this?” We cannot possibly imagine how God is going to move; how He is going to deliver us and break the unbreakable strongholds for us. But God is ready to help. Often His help is unexpected, and we are simply mesmerized that it has come.

WE ARE CREATED IN GOD'S IMAGE. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

image of God

Every human on the Earth is individual in his thinking and self-consciousness. Each human is peculiar to have his own point of view, to make plans, to create living conditions around him, to choose a life view that he thinks is right and to build reasoning, approving one or another way of life. It is human nature to learn the world with all its laws and mysteries and to use them.

Message to the Messianic Hebrews 4:9-10 says “There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.” (NKJV) This is a reminder for us that the main and global principle of Saturday (Shabbat) is connected with its ordinance on the seventh day of creation.

HOW TO PRAY FOR ISRAEL AND WHY THE CHURCH SHOULD DO IT?

Опубликовано в

We can pray simply to bless Israel and the Jewish people. But, most likely, our prayers would be much more effective if we understood what God really wants from His people and what He expects from Israel today. Should we pray for peace in Israel? Yes, we should. The Bible clearly says it, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122:6 NKJV). When we read "pray for the peace”, we understand it in the narrow sense, but the original definition is "shalom." "Shalom" means not only peace but also integrity, unity, harmony, fullness.

Doesn't God judge us by deeds but only by faith?

Many of us have heard that God doesn't judge by deeds but only by faith. But this is heresy and now it's spreading out very quickly. Actually, this extreme was an extreme of rejection of God's deepest love to His children. This extreme started with separation of the Church from God's love to Israel.

Get rid of false guilt!

You better reconsider your relationship with loved ones, it shouldn't be in the way of your relationship with God. Yeshua said in Matthew 10:37( NKJV) , “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.” Keep this in mind and avoid extremes.

This is what God desired from Israel from the beginning! This is exactly what He wants from us!

During the Exodus, Jewish people had neither the Spirit of God nor even the initial knowledge of the God who brought them out to freedom. That is why every day they demanded new superficial and visible blessings as proof that they went out of bondage not in vain and they could trust the heaven-sent Prophet. There were cucumbers and meat in the bondage but on the outside there were freedom, sand and manna so far only…
