We especially need the power of the holidays during the week. It’s very important! There are verses in the Brit Hadasha (New Testament) where it’s said that even when the festivals are over, we can still celebrate. For example, in an Epistle to the Messianic Jews (which means it first for us, but also addressed all children of God) it says, “There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God”.
Note that it does not say, “Saturday remains”, it says, “Sabbath-rest remains”. In original Greek, these words mean “celebration of Shabbat”.
So, here is this word, “Sabbath-rest”: “There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God”. This “Shabbat celebration” and Shabbat rest remain for the people of God.
