Some people, in order to feel ok, need to be confronting or negatively judging someone, entering this state of mind gives them some sort of power and energy. Such people often look for comrades and supporters, so they end up involving people around them, influencing them to oppose others too.

There is a spiritual principle at work when a person unites with one or two people against others and wrong demonic relationships are born in their unity. Thus, they become full of demonic power.

If you have something like this in your life then it means there is an area of your life which the enemy has access to. You should deal with it and cut down that source of the enemy’s influence. Similarly, if you feel someone is trying to involve you in something like this, you should realize your own responsibility in this and not enter into it.
Everyone should understand their personal responsibility in their walk with the Lord and should not please people more than God. We should be ready to say NO even to our friends and acquaintances when they are trying to drag us into some gossip or godless unity or negativity by telling us about someone else.

In the world such things are normal but in the family of God, nothing like it should exist. So, we need to watch ourselves, taking control of ourselves while understanding our personal responsibility. It does not matter if you carry any responsibility over these people or not, do not be pulled into talking behind their back and gossiping about either their employers, colleagues, or brothers and sisters.
It’s a serious matter, this poison will spread. Last I checked the principle of sowing and reaping is still working: whatever a man sows, that he also will reap.

Be wise and spiritually mature to guard your heart. Scripture tells us:

"Above everything else guard your heart" (Proverbs 4:23 ISV)
