We need to routinely reflect on our lives, considering the opportunities that come to us in which we can serve God and contribute to achieving His goals here on earth. After each week has passed, stop to analyze yourself: What did you do the prior week? Who did you meet with? Who did you help?
This is important, because if you do not stop to do this each week, you may not notice how life is passing you by in a stream of days. It passes silently… invisibly. A person may think, “The week is long, everything is okay and I will have enough time to do God’s work”, and while seemingly little time has passed, life can fly away little by little until it is over.
“Cherish the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16)
